Frequently Asked Questions

How can I place an order for a Sficoop.com share unit(s)?
You can place your order anytime online by going to "New Order"

How much does a co-op share unit cost?
The cost per share unit varies based on the number of share units that you order. It starts with only $50 per share unit and goes down accordingly.

How many leads can I expect from each share unit purchased in the co-op?
At our current rate we are generating about 25 affiliates per each share unit. You will be able to see your new affiliates at your SFI's Full Genealogy report, PSA Report and you'll also get an email from SFI informing you that an affiliate has signed up under you.

Define a lead:
A lead from Sficoop.com represents someone who initially opted-in through one of our ad campaigns, then, registered with SFI as an SFI affiliate (using the "New FREE  Gateway" form) in response to a second campaign sent by us. So, in other words, these are actual SFI affiliates that can be viewed in your Full Genealogy report under your SFI account by going to: https://www.sfimg.com/MyAccount/Genealogy.sfi  (you will need to login with your SFI ID and password to get in)

How long does it take before I start receiving leads?
Your leads will typically begin arriving within four weeks from receipt of your order (and may continue to come in for up to two months). This is due to the fact that many of the sources in which we advertise have lead times of about one month. Here’s your best strategy: commit to participating in the co-op every month. Once you’ve got passed the initial four weeks, you should have leads arriving continuously every few days. The best and easiest way to do this is to create a "Standing Order" for SFICo-op.

I'm new to this! How do I follow up on my Sficoop.com leads?
For general information on how to do effective follow-ups, go to SFI website at: https://www.sfimg.com/Training/FollowUp.sfi

Does SFI contact my leads to request confirmation of their registration?
All leads that register with SFI are e-mailed a series of three messages that state that they must confirm their registration or it will be cancelled. Note that due to privacy issues, SFI cannot send any additional e-mails beyond these three until they respond. However, because you are the person who paid for the advertising that generated their inquiry, you may continue to follow up indefinitely. IMPORTANT: If you are following up by e-mail, please note that you are NOT allowed to reference any SFI-hosted Websites without first receiving direct contact from your affiliate. For more information on this and how to do effective follow-ups, go to:
https://www.sfimg.com/Training/FollowUp.sfi

Where will my new affiliates be placed?
Unless the affiliates are coming in through a Team Leader Co-op you've set up (in which case the co-op parameters you set will dictate placement), affiliates generated from SFICoop.com always go into your genealogy as personal referrals under the keycode of "4444" or the keycode that you submitted with your order.

What are the qualifications for participating in Sficoop.com?
You just need to be an SFI affiliate or leader with a valid SFI ID number.

How will I know how Sficoop.com is doing for me?
You'll receive a notification from SFI each time a lead is generated for you along with the designated Sficoop.com keycode or the keycode that you submitted with your order (this notification will provide you with the lead's contact information, such as name, e-mail address, etc. so you may follow up). Your Sficoop.com-generated affiliates will also appear in your SFI Genealogy report.

What's the currently designated SFICoop.com Keycode?
Currently and until further notice, SFICoop.com utilizes Keycode "4444" as its default keycode on all signups generated by the co-op. Of course, you can supply your own keycode at the time you place your order.

What if one of my leads doesn't receive (or loses) the confirmation e-mails from SFI with the link they need to click?
Just have them go to this link RETRIEVE YOUR PASSWORD OR SFI ID and follow the directions. A message will be e-mailed to them instantly containing the link to complete the "affiliate confirmation" process. Note that you can actually do this for them by entering their e-mail address in the appropriate field, so long as you have your lead's permission to do so.
